 WoD: "30 For 30"

Complete 3 Rounds For Time

of:

30 Dumbbell Snatch

30 Toes To Bar

M: 22.5kg. ---|--- W: 15kg.

  • Helloooooo grip!
  • Large sets of anything strike fear into us as we all of a sudden start hypothesising how we will break it up. Suffice to say we want you to find a method that will allow you to keep moving through but also enhance your strength and your grip. Just because you can do a few Dumbbell Snatches at the prescribed weight does it mean you should do 90 of them?? If it will take you 4-5 mins each time then the answer is no.
  • The same can be said of the Toes To Bar. We want to help you develop things like getting your first few reps or even linking them up but 90 is a fair amount. If you have some but 90 will take you a long time then consider one of our scale options to do the full move but reduce the rep scheme a touch (same with any beginners who aren't yet ready to hang from a bar for that long).
  • Remember the goal is NOT to just "RX" the WoDs. The goal is actually to meet the stimulus & intentions that the workout is asking of you. Arguably you could that that in itself is the real RX.
  • If what we ask requires you reduce the weight, volume of work, or both, then we will do that and you can meet our old friend, Mr Intensity!
  • Enjoy!!
  • Hold the standards. Form is priority as always.
  • Scale as needed.
