    What is this CrossFit stuff we hear you ask! Great question! We always say the best way for you to find out is to give us a try and see for yourself!

    We fully recommend you coming up and trying out CrossFit at our unique Rooftop CBD location & understanding why the program & workouts are so challenging yet so rewarding!

    CrossFit is a strength & conditioning program that is by its design a General Physical Preparedness program (GPP). What this means is we program to make you the Fittest you have ever been & make you good at a vast array of different functional movements. We don’t specialise because real life doesn’t specialise. We will help you to be functionally able & Fit as you age through life, and we will have a ton of fun doing so!

    At CrossFit CBD we take great pride in our Coaches & our ability to teach. We fully believe in the art of doing something very very well. Because of this you wont find us just shepherding you along to task A, then B, then the next task, then your workout, then your finishing piece, etc. Nope, we will program a Workout Of the Day (WoD) and build our whole session around that. You will find workouts will range from out & out conditioning sessions to strength days, to a mix modal of combinations such as gymnastics moves & weightlifting moves.

    We want you to leave the gym after every class having learnt something, gotten a great experience & had the best time of your day. One thing you can rely on is if you come to us you will learn about movement and learn to move well.

    Because CrossFit is so deep in the amount of exercises, techniques, workout formats, etc, there is no possible way we can teach you everything in your Intro pack. What we will do is first up have you take an beginners only class with our Intro Coordinator. Here we will teach you about some of the foundational movements that appear in the program & go over some principal points about functional movement & walk you through this entire class. The next week we look to integrate you into some of our main group classes where you can get a feel for how we run & coach our classes, Experience some classic CrossFit WoDs & meet our amazing Community up here!
