 WoD: "Hanging By A Thread"

M & W: Choose loading. All three sets are to increase in weight as the reps decrease.

  • Hooooeeeeeey! This one packs a punch! The intentions are are that this starts out "moderately heavy" and builds in heaviness each set.
  • Look to choose an opening weight that you can do around 5-10 reps in the first instance & chip your way through relentlessly. Think of this as "Grace's" awkward cousin. Once you hit the 30 reps add weight and we go again after a very short rest. This time round you should be at a weight that you could do 5 reps when fresh. No more than that (shame you won't bet fresh at this point hey??!!).
  • The last bar should be a weight that you really have to fight for. Maybe 1-2 reps at time.
  • This workout will have more impact than you think. You really will have to put your best foot forward if you are to get the does response. Moving heavy barbells for time is tough. It's just you & the bar. Ain't no one gonna lift it for you so you may as well pick it up!!
  • Hold the standards. Form is priority as always.
  • Scale as needed.
  • Stay Humble. Work Hard. Be Happy.
