M: 9kg ball to 10ft. ---|--- W: 6kg ball to 9ft.

  • Simple. Elegant. Downright effective.
  • No matter your level. No matter your strength. No matter how long you have or haven't done CrossFit for, this workout is tailor made for you to dig deep and get something from it. Too often you will hear CrossFitter's say workouts like this are "too easy" or "not enough". These are likely the people who would avoid there hardship inside a workout like this.
  • Today intensity will be the biggest factor in feeling what this WoD wants. Relative intensity that is.
  • Plainly speaking if you get after it (Like really get after it!), to your own physiological & psychological tolerances, then come the end of this you will know you were truly in a fight with your own fitness level.
  • Sure, there are plenty of ways to make this WoD humdrum & mediocre. You could deliberately ease off on the row because you don't want it to hurt that much. Sure, you could get ahold of the wall ball and stick to sets of 6 or 7 at a time. If thats how you choose to approach this then have at it, but you can't turn round and expect your fitness level to increase if you don't push.
  • This one will bite IF you hit the row as hard as you can with no regard for pace at all. It will bite IF you get the wall ball and just keeping going until you physically cannot throw another rep. And then you will just pick it up 5 seconds later to get after it again. This one will bite IF you put your whole being into "just" 9 minutes of time. How you finish any workout is a true sign of character. today embodies that so beautifully.
  • Now. Just how hard are you willing to push today?? As long as you hit your own (relative) limits this should take care off itself.
  • Hold the standards. Form is priority as always.
  • Scale as needed.
  • Stay Humble. Work Hard. Be Happy.
