CBD BENCHMARK CYCLE WoD (Re-Test):

Strength Test: Front Squat

3 - 3 - 3 - 3 - 3

  • This is the first of your CrossFit CBD Benchmark Cycle for October & we're coming at ya early!
  • To truly be varied in our Benchmarking & testing we must test across a multitude of modalities. This is why strength tests are critical to seeing ho well rounded our Fitness really is. It cannot all be MetCons guys, (sorry to our Cardio loving Crew!).
  • With it being "just the 5 sets" this puts the onus back on you to really challenge yourself & get the most adaptation out of yourself. Aim for the first work-set to be around the 80% mark (or more) of any 1RM you my have in the Front Squat (This also means taking quite a few warm up sets to prime your system ready to lift some Heavy weight!). Also go back at look at your numbers from last time to strategise how you will attack this time around.

  • Please remember, these particular Benchmark WoDs WILL be getting tested again within 4 months so be sure to ACCURATELY record, on your Beyond The Whiteboard account, any scaling or notes you will want to look back on when we do it again in February!
  • Hold the standards. Form is priority as always.
  • Scale as needed.
