  OLY Strength WoD -

For Load:

Complex of:

Deadlift + Hang Power Clean + 2 Shoulder To Overheads

You have 20 minutes to find your heaviest load. Record your three best efforts.

.

  • Strength Day y'all!
  • Working on complexes on your Olympic lifts allows you to fix and work at the necessary positions to make the moves work yet you are still able to move some heavy weight around.
  • This ones a lot of fun. Nail the clean with great footwork. Then get your confidence on point and launch that weight overhead!
  • How you get the weight overhead will largely depend on your experience. It will range from 1 push jerk & 1 split jerk, all the way to 2 push presses. Your Coach will guide you as to this.
  • Lift Heavy* Have fun!!
  • *= "Heavy" is a relative term. Meaning that the actual number of kgs does not matter. What does matter is that YOU have lifted as Heavy as you were able to safely, & in turn YOU forced an adaptation upon your own body.
  • Hold the standards. Form is priority as always.
  • Scale as needed.
