27/05/16 – “Hanging Out”

Strength WoD

WoD: For Load:  . Hang Snatch 2 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 2  
  • Today we will lift on the 2 Minutes for the 7 working sets.
  • Get plenty of prep sets in before we start the timer.
  • It is a Hang (squat) Snatch. Each rep is to be received in the Overhead Squat position, hip crease below knee.
. Finisher: 60 Toes To Bar for time:
  • 5 Min cap

Today marked Niki's last day with us at CBD. 

She has moved down to the Mornington Peninsula & won't be able to train with us anymore in the City. 🙁

Always attentive, methodical & consistent with her training Niki saw continuous improvement & gains throughout her journey with us over the years.

From her excellent barbell lifting to more recently busting out unassisted pull ups in a WoD for the first time she has shown the CrossFit, proper good classic CrossFit, really does work. She has proved that by still setting PR's regularly YEARS after she first started! #CrossFitForLife !!

Niki you will be missed but alas we will see you pop in from time to time to take some snazzy shots with your camera! 

We wish you & Gwen the very best of luck with whatever the future may hold.
