01/04/16 – “The Journey”

For Time: . Row 5 km  
  • Some may view this as not a CrossFit Workout. We can assure you it is very much a Crossfit workout!
  • One stream of the 10 General Physical Skills is Cardiovascular / Respiratory Endurance (The ability of body systems to gather, process, and deliver oxygen).
  • Another is Stamina (The ability of body systems to process, deliver, store, and utilise energy).
  • To help build these (as well as going anaerobic frequently) you need to go aerobic & build the capacity.
  • Make no mistake this isn't a stroll in the park. Its a good honest hard yakka distance done as hard as you can for a time.
  • For all those in the world that believe they "don't need it" or "don't want to do it". They are probably the MOST IN NEED of it.
  • Don't avoid it. We are but only as fit as the weakest of those 10 General Physical Skills.
  • Set a mark today so that you can come back in the future and try to beat it.
  • If you are scaling off the rower then hit the Assault bike for a 6 MILE time trial instead 🙂
